Annotations: FAQ's

Where are you based?
I live in Manteca, CA but I service all of the Central Valley, Bay Area, and I'm always happy to travel!

Do you have a studio?
Yes! My Greenhouse studio is located in Manteca, CA. 

What type of sessions do you photograph? 
My passions are births, maternity, newborns, motherhood, and families!

Whats your style?
I have a non-traditional, honest style. I long to capture you as you are.I am a natural editor meaning that I will smooth and polish but I will not alter who you are in real life. Our sessions consist of a mixture of posed portraits and candid, authentic moments. 

When do you schedule sessions?
Outdoor sessions are scheduled on Fridays and Saturdays, 1 or 2 hours before sunset. This is when the sunlight is soft, warm, and glowing. Greenhouse sessions are scheduled during morning hours when lighting is best and weather is cool. 

What locations do you use? 
I suggest locations based on the type session you’re trying to achieve. Are you interested in-studio, beach, grassy field, city, architecture, or woods?  Once that's decided I recommend locations best suited for your taste.

Do you offer in-home Newborn Sessions?
No, I do not. I have found over time that it is impossible to achieve my well known style in home. In order to keep the consistency of my work I only offer greenhouse newborn sessions. 

Do you charge travel fees? 
Yes, and the fee depends on the distance from my home base. I will be upfront on these fees while I discuss locations with you. Travel fees are only applied to locations more than 30 minutes from my home.

Can I print my images myself?
Yes. All of my sessions include high resolution edited images and the amount depends on the collection you book. You also have the ability to order professional prints directly from your online gallery. 

I want to work with you! How do I book my session? 
Complete the contact form on the website. We will chat back and forth via text. If needed we can also set up a phone appointment. Once we establish details we will send a contract and invoice to collect the retainer which is non refundable. Receipt of payment guarantees the date/time allotted for you. The balance is payable the day of the session.

How long does my session last?
Mini sessions and milestone sessions are roughly 20-30 minutes. Regular sessions typically last 60 minutes. Newborn sessions are 2-3 hours.

What do I wear? 
I have a growing client closet available for women and babies. I am always adding new pieces and hope to one day clothe entire families. Client closet items are free for our clients to use. Find the client closet on Instagram: @ff_client_closet

How do dress rentals work?

Should I get my hair and makeup done professionally? 
Yessss! I highly recommend professional hair and makeup. Not only will your day go more smoothly therefore making it less stressful but you will also feel like a 
rockstar! If you naturally tan in the summer time a spray tan can be lovely as well. Please ask for my list of referrals. 

What happens if the weather is bad?
Cloudy weather is not a problem - in fact it's my favorite! However, if it rains, hails, etc. I will contact you as soon as possible to postpone or reschedule. 

I’m excited to see my photos! When will they be ready?
Your gallery will be completed within 4 weeks.
